The advent of digital technology has opened up incredibly exciting possibilities. After years in the darkroom, I'm now able to experiment more freely--a great benefit, as I enjoy printing as much as shooting. Printing with pigmented inks on watercolor paper brings my work closer to that of the painters who have influenced it.

What I value most about photography is its power to make us see the world in a different way--with heightened attention to the details and the vistas, the hues and the geometries, and the significance of all that surrounds us.
